About The Position

Our associates celebrate lives. We celebrate our associates. Provides administrative and clerical support to the memorial support desk. Duties include greeting the public and providing general information on services offered in a polite manner with a goal to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years of experience in an office clerical or customer service capacity required
• Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment required
• Primarily indoor office work however, must be willing and able to conduct business outdoors, regardless of weather and travel to a remote (nearby) cemetery
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Requires the ability to deal with privileged information in a confidential manner
• Ability to professionally communicate, in writing and verbally, with families and associates
• Ability to multi-task and work in team based environment while maintaining high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional dress and manner conducive to cemetery and funeral home environment
• Basic mathematics skills required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• High level of compassion and integrity
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform all administrative support tasks in support of the Memorial Design Team
• Issue, track and record Installment Work Orders and Cemetery Service Requests
• Respond to all marker inquiries
• Liaison for Third-Party vendor memorial installations
• Comply with SOX regulations
• Prepare and reconcile reports with high degree of accuracy
• Manage paper and electronic filing systems
• Comply with and participate in SCI Interment Verification Processes
• Act as backup to switchboard operator
