About The Position

As a Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all activities are carried out according to our non-negotiables and our cultural pillars. You will collaborate with sales teams and customers for your assigned area to understand the activity forecast (volume and complexity). Your role will involve ensuring that the team fully understands the contracts/quote for their assigned job portfolio so we can harvest contracts and collect appropriately. You will conduct sales, develop sales relationships with customers, and generate sales-related forecasts. Additionally, you will collect field samples to follow up on customer inquiries and concerns, write recommendations, and submit quotes to customers. You will also be responsible for developing your team in line with competency and training programs for their respective positions as well as future career plans. Directing service delivery teams and operations support for flawless execution will be part of your duties, along with providing monitoring of treatment programs and systems.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma/GED.
  • 2 years of experience in technical and/or sales roles in the oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to work in the Central and Southern Michigan areas.
  • Knowledge about water treatment systems or petrochemical unit processes.
  • Solid understanding of emulsification, corrosion control, fouling control, and water treatment.
  • Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to perform basic field and lab service and communicate performance vs KPI's.
