The Field Operations Intern will learn and experience how the role of administrators and project managers directly supports the mission and vision of East-West, and understand the critical skills necessary to strategize, support, and implement support to our Field Ministries. By interning with the Field Ministries department, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-departmental teams as a project coordinator, assist field teams to digitally track their ministry work, coordinate projects and logistics related to our quadrennial all staff conference, provide support to our field ministries department through problem solving skills and various projects, participate in team meetings, and participate in weekly intern group time. This is a time where interns from all departments will gather and be discipled, grow in knowledge about unreached people groups, and discover your unique role in the Great Commission. Additionally, interns will participate in East-West staff events and socials, lunch and learns, etc. Through participation in meetings and training sessions, the intern will be exposed to all aspects of East-West to understand best practices in missions as well as standards of excellence in all of the organization. All interns receive a well-rounded snapshot of the inner workings of an evangelical, non-profit, missio-centric, organization. Through research, shadowing, brainstorming, and assisting in projects and tasks, the ultimate objective of the East-West Internship Program is to provide a progressive learning environment to equip future leaders for ministry.
