The openings are for 2nd and 3rd shift. 2nd Shift: 3 p.m. - 12 a.m. 3rd Shift: 11 p.m. - 8 a.m. The Field Operations Engineer will be responsible for the field engineering and operation of our innovative and state of the art water treatment technology at a customer site. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical Engineering or equivalent industry experience/certifications considered.
  • 3-5 years of commissioning and start-up experience of large capital projects in the environmental, construction, oil & gas, chemical, or power industries preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial piping systems, water treatment equipment, or distillation equipment is preferred.
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and databases, Microsoft Office software, etc.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and technical communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience taking responsibility for high level tasks and driving all sub tasks to rapid conclusion with autonomy.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the field engineering that supports the oversights, operation and management of ECT2’s design and systems.
  • Manage a dynamic team of operators and field technicians traveling to the site to support the field engineering and operations efforts.
  • Prepare the onsite team weekly and daily for the tasks that need to be executed to stay on track with the project schedule.
  • Commission and start-up all new systems, focused on the technical and project specifications.
  • Inspect equipment delivered to the site, and document issues carefully and thoroughly.
  • Follow up with suppliers to remedy issues related to procured equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate with the customer and other on-site contractors to manage normal operations.
  • Provide daily reports to the client and ECT2 Project team for site status and progress.
  • Ensure onsite safety compliance and adherence for the ECT2 team and associated subcontractors.
  • Develop additional safety literature as applicable, Job Hazard Analysis, Management of Change reviews, Health and Safety plan amendments.
  • Organize and support the development and management of on-site staffing schedules.
  • Review and develop drawing packages, documents, and equipment included in the project.
  • Support project team meetings by providing pertinent updates on ECT2 progress.
  • Develop additional technologies and strategies on site to improve system operation.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders onsite, including vendors, client operations staff, and the ECT2 team.
