About The Position

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting essential infrastructure? Join our Project Management Office team as an Associate Project Manager, where your administrative expertise helps power communities and keep construction and maintenance projects running smoothly. The Associate Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring field inspectors, construction managers, and project teams can operate efficiently by managing material logistics, documentation, administrative coordination, and cross‑team communication. This position supports day‑to‑day project execution by streamlining processes, maintaining accurate records, and proactively resolving logistical challenges that often slow down field work.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
  • 4+ years of administrative experience, ideally in utilities or construction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, SAP or similar systems
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with electric utility operations or field construction workflows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with Primavera P6
  • Knowledge of billing and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create/maintain sharable platform to communicate delivery status of materials prior to pre-construction meetings
  • Input schedule updates as adjustments are needed or deadlines are met using Primavera P6
  • Update the crew assignments as changes occur
  • Procure and obtain physical print packages, assure documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Submitting Purchase Order Requests then arrange deliveries for the crew needs – dumpsters, portable toilets, traffic control crews
  • Track crew personal changes and assignments from supervisors, ITS key acclimation process and schedule training for the crews.
  • Update weekend work notifications and assisting workload trackers.
  • Maintain Site Security by checking the camera feed and assuring temporary power has been fed
  • Coordinate regular check-ins with support staff, inspectors and PM assistants
  • Initiate contact with subcontractors for concrete, soil testing, rebar cages, etc.
  • Define work procedures for Work Authorization
  • Update necessary tools/forms utilized for work authorization submissions
