About The Position

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Field Operations Supervisor at our Prince George's County MRF located in Capitol Heights, MD. This position plans, coordinates and directs the daily functions of assigned operations facility and supervises equipment operating staff.

Requirements

• Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus one year of supervisory experience in field operations, recycling/solid waste or construction activities and six years prior experience operating heavy equipment.
• OR Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus six years of progressively responsible experience applicable to the hiring facility. This experience must include a lead role in field operations, recycling/solid waste or construction activities.
• Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
• Appointment to some sites may also require Commercial Driver's License with specific endorsements.
• Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
