The Field Merchandising Specialist will provide direct support to field operations and corporate departments to facilitate the implementation of projects, processes, programs, and tests related to Merchandising. Requirements

  • 2+ years of merchandising experience preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a retail general manager or assistant general manager required; multi-unit experience preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle check.
  • Frequent travel required within assigned region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
  • Exceptional customer service, positive rapport building, expert salesmanship, and ensuring satisfaction by managing operations and employee-vehicle deployment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Regular talking and hearing.
  • Active involvement requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
  • Occasional lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the execution of annual planogram updates, store-level inventory counts, and inventory control initiatives to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and maintain accurate on-hand levels.
  • Facilitate and monitor inventory related training programs for store teams and ensure timely completion and effective rollout of updates.
  • Partner with vendors and store teams to maintain consistent in-stock levels and foster strong working relationships that drive profitable merchandising performance.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to field teams in executing merchandising programs, tests, and initiatives, including new store and SRI setups.
  • Collaborate with Field Auditor teams to refine loss prevention strategies and support the development of Inventory Management Coordinators.
  • Manage personal scheduling, travel logistics, expense reporting, and vehicle maintenance while assembling/disassembling fixtures and communicating daily with field leadership on merchandising issues
