About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to manage product placement and inventory levels for Hallmark products in various retail stores. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to build relationships with retailers, and representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams, support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally work with products from other companies in serviced stores.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Expect additional days and extended hours during the work week leading up to and following major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
  • Be required to work on actual holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day), which may include weekends.
  • Participate in department resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections, with two weeks' advance notice for remodel assignments, potentially including evenings or weekends.
  • Support other team members in their territories as needed, as part of Hallmark's field organization.
