Position: Field Merchandiser Northern Ca/Northern Nevada Responsible for ensuring programs and methods are effectively implemented at the store level to drive program sales performance. This position includes a company-supplied vehicle to support territory travel and store visits.

Requirements

  • Requires 2+ years of retail and/or merchandising experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and environments
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Must be able to travel from store to store
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license
  • Travel 90%

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a timely and accurate store call schedule
  • Work directly with retail buyers to develop uniform schematic and help implement the program
  • Complete store reports recapping merchandising activity which includes but not limited to stock-on-hand, case temps, product and POS conditions, comments from Managers and Customers, and any other details that contribute to the success of the program.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key store individuals
  • Keep current on market and product developments by way of communication with sales and marketing
  • Assess back-room inventory organization. Date stamp inventory. Advise of any close dated or out of date product
  • Properly rotate stock as needed
  • Identify and communicate problems and/or opportunities to the appropriate personnel
  • Deliver and ensure POS material is being properly used/displayed
  • Assist with meat case resets as needed
  • Assist with events including but not limited to BBQs.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
