About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service. Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
• Use technology for day-to-day work, communication with supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Work additional days and extended hours during the work week leading up to and following major holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
• Be available to work on actual holidays like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, which may include weekends.
• Participate in Department Resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other team members as needed in their territories.
