About The Position

Be the face of P&G in Texas retail stores. Marco is expanding across the U.S. market and we're looking for driven, independent Field Merchandisers to represent Procter & Gamble , one of the world's most recognized consumer brands in retail locations across Texas. The Field Merchandiser plays a critical execution and insight-gathering role by ensuring Procter & Gamble’s in-store merchandising standards are consistently implemented across assigned retail locations while delivering accurate, timely market data to support business decisions. This role is designed to drive strong on-shelf presence, planogram compliance, and display execution, while serving as the eyes and ears of the business in the field. Field Merchandisers are responsible for independently managing daily store routes, executing merchandising tasks with precision, and capturing high-quality store-level data through standardized surveys and photo documentation. Success in this role is measured by execution consistency, data accuracy, productivity across multiple daily visits, and the ability to identify and communicate in-store issues, trends, and opportunities that impact brand performance. This isn't a desk job. You'll be out in the field every day, making sure P&G products look their best on shelves, capturing real-time store data, and directly impacting how one of the world's top brands performs at retail level. What You'll Do On a typical day, you'll visit 4 to 5 retail stores, where you'll: Execute P&G's merchandising standards, planograms, and display setups Ensure products are properly stocked, faced, and visually on point Identify and fix issues like out-of-stocks, missing SKUs, or non-compliant displays Complete store visit surveys capturing shelf conditions, pricing, promotions, and competitive activity Upload photos and submit reports through your smartphone Flag trends, risks, and opportunities to management with clear documentation Your work directly influences brand performance on the shelf — and that matters.

Requirements

  • Someone who thrives working independently and managing their own daily route
  • Comfortable with physical activity: standing, bending, lifting, and moving products
  • Available to work Tuesday through Sunday
  • Owns a smartphone with a reliable data plan
  • Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred for Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Odessa/Midland).

Responsibilities

  • Executing approved merchandising standards, planograms, and display requirements across assigned retail locations to ensure strong on-shelf presence and brand compliance.
  • Ensuring products are properly stocked, faced, organized, and visually presented according to brand guidelines, while identifying and correcting execution issues such as out-of-stocks, missing SKUs, pricing discrepancies, and damaged or non-compliant displays.
  • Maintaining clean, organized shelving and fixtures to support a positive shopper experience.
  • Independently managing daily routes and completes 4–5 store visits per day (depending on zone, see below).
  • Accurately completing required store visit surveys, capturing product availability, shelf conditions, display compliance, pricing and promotional execution, competitive activity, and relevant in-store observations.
  • Uploading required photos and documentation per visit guidelines, and all data is submitted accurately and on time through designated reporting tools.
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact brand performance.
  • Communicating urgent issues and recurring challenges promptly to management with clear documentation to support follow-up actions.
  • Representing the brand and organization professionally, builds positive working relationships with store personnel, adheres to assigned schedules and compliance standards, and operates independently while meeting productivity, quality, and accuracy expectations.
