About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Field Mechanic to join their team in Quincy, WA. As a Field Mechanic, the role involves working on agriculture equipment at customer locations to ensure accurate and timely repairs, maximizing customer uptime and equipment performance.

Requirements

3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably Agriculture equipment
Basic computer knowledge
Self-motivation
Ability to work under little or no supervision
Excellent communication and customer relations skills
Driver’s license with a good driving record
Must provide own tools

Nice To Haves

CDL preferred

Responsibilities

Analyze and diagnose agriculture equipment malfunctions or failures in the field
Repair, replace or rebuild engines, transmissions, carburetors, final drives, steering, clutches, cross shafts, hydraulic components including pump motors, valves, and all related components, electrical systems, and air systems
Perform welding and fabrication work at times
Perform top-notch work on equipment
Interact with customers
