About The Position

OverviewLocation: Denison, TX Seeking a mechanically inclined, and safety-oriented field mechanic. This position is responsible for heavy duty diesel maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on trucks and trailers. Requirements

  • Hands on Experience with Diesel Systems
  • Heavy Duty Engines (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar)
  • Fuel Injection Systems
  • Aftertreatment systems
  • Diagnose shorts, opens, high resistance, blown fuses
  • read wiring diagrams
  • Proficient with electrical tools
  • Ability to Read and Understand Hydraulic Schematics
  • Use pressure gauges and flow meters
  • Identify the cause of slow/weak hydraulics
  • Spot symptoms of cavitation, aeration, stuck valves, or pump failure
  • knowledge of Hydraulic components
  • Proper recovery, recycling & recharging skills
  • Diagnostic skills for AC systems
  • Leak Detection & repair skills
  • Refrigerant Knowledge
  • Component testing & replacement skills
