About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Field Marketing Specialist 2 for the Universities Segment, located at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. The Marketing Specialist/Senior Manager of Marketing and Strategy will be responsible for all aspects of campus marketing and communications to promote Sodexo services and events; to include execution of these events. Events can range in size from small coffee service to large dinner parties, receptions, fundraisers, orientations, picnics and upscale functions. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Requirements

• Strong marketing background and writing skills.
• Strategic leadership and talent management skills.
• Exceptional communication and project management skills.
• Strong computer skills, with a preference for experience with Scala.
• Best in class presentation skills, with extensive PowerPoint experience.
• Team development skills.
• Client relationship skills and the ability to quickly respond to client and management needs.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage workload.
• Contract food services experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a marketing team that includes a Marketing Unit Coordinator, Graphic Artist and Marketing Intern.
• Work with managers, clients, the District Manager and Vice President in all matters relating to marketing.
• Establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship.
• Coordinate and direct all marketing activities throughout the enterprise through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employees.
