About The Position

The Marketing Representatives goal is to increase the number of new patients to their assigned office(s). As a Marketing Representative at West Coast Dental, you will collaborate with talented professionals to participate in and host patient outreach events in local communities. Excellent customer service and effective communication skills are required. The ideal candidate is friendly, energetic, customer-service driven, and positively motivated to help bring dental awareness to the community. The Marketer will be notified of the work schedule on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. The Marketer’s schedule is subject to change (daily/weekly hours may increase or decrease) according to the needs of the business. Evening and weekend hours may be required. This position is paid on an hourly basis.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish required (if the geographic location of the office does not require the applicant to be bilingual, applicants who only speak English may be considered)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong sales skills
  • Ability to sell your office
  • Strong telephone skills
  • Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
  • Ability to maintain outgoing, friendly attitude with patients and coworkers, even under pressure
  • Ability to work with interruptions and to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to relate, communicate with, and work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Proficiency in alphabetizing and spelling
  • Ability to write legibly and work with numbers
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to satisfactorily perform essential functions of the position
  • Means to travel from one office to another, required as necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Prior marketing experience in the medical/dental industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Obtain list of local businesses
  • Establish relationships with all business within a pre-set area
  • Hold events to draw in referral patients to the assigned office
  • manage time to maximize event planning
  • Follow up with referred patients
  • Distribute marketing materials to promote assigned office
  • Identify primary contact for each business
  • Refer a minimum of 50 patients per month for the assigned office
  • Use all necessary reports
  • Attend all required meetings
