Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Moderate understanding of Dealer Business Systems, Microsoft Excel, SIS, Uptake, CAT Inspect.
  • Successfully completed all required training curriculum to be designated Field Maintenance Tech II.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Responsibilities

  • Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Wears and enforces wearing proper personal protective equipment.
  • Effectively performs preventive maintenance to include changing fluids, filters, pulling SOS Samples, lubricating and cleaning components, and starting equipment to test performance.
  • Effectively communicates with Field Maintenance Dispatcher and customers to aid in scheduling work week to conduct preventative maintenance jobs on time and efficiently.
  • Supplies all required information, supporting documentation, and photos to the Field Maintenance Dispatcher for repairs and additional services identified during scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
  • Maintains flexibility of schedule to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Works in a neat and orderly fashion, adhering to contamination control guidelines and constantly looking for ways of improving the methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
  • Performs daily truck inspections in adherence to all MSHA and OSHA requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
