Field Lube / Service Mechanic Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Lube & Service Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert on-site equipment PM’s and inspections for a wide range of industrial and commercial equipment. This role requires extensive travel to customer sites and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and will become the backbone of our preventive maintenance for our mobile fleet of equipment throughout Oklahoma. Responsibilities: Preventative Maintenance: Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance activity, inspections and follow-through to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance. Document inspections and required follow through Inspect machinery for potential issues, worn parts, or safety hazards and recommend corrective actions. On-site Service and Repair: Travel to coop locations to perform scheduled PM maintenance, emergency repairs, and equipment installations Perform a variety of minor repairs, hydraulic system troubleshooting, electrical wiring, and component replacements. Team Interaction: Communicate effectively with team members to understand their needs, explain technical issues, and provide solutions. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Technical Knowledge and Skills: Stay current with the latest technologies and service procedures for our product line. Maintain and organize service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Safety Ensure all work is being done in a safe manner at all times. Ability to identify safety hazards Qualifications: Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical or trade school program is preferred. Proven experience as a field service mechanic or a similar role, with a strong background in a relevant industry (e.g., construction, agriculture, heavy machinery, automotive). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other specialized equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Personal Attributes: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Strong aptitude for safety. Working knowledge of DOT regulations. Other Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts as needed.
