About The Position
A Field Leader for Gas Operations provides leadership to a team of employees and/or contractors directly responsible for supporting natural gas emergencies, performing general operational & maintenance tasks and the installation of minor asset improvements. They generally have an assigned geographic service territory and are expected to ensure safe, reliable, delivery of service to customers and communities. Field Leaders serve as role models for safe work practices, are visible in the field and help ensure work is performed in accordance with standards and procedures. They also actively manage the development and training of employees to improve individual and team performance. Field Leaders are generally on call 24 hours a day to support operational activities and natural gas emergencies, as necessary.
