About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY The Field Inventory Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and procedures in Transmedics Field Hubs. They will supervise the 3rd Party provider and their conduct of inventory activities. They will be responsible for maintaining our existing policies and procedures on field inventory as well as implementing enhancements and improvements. The Field Inventory Manager will review and approve inventories as well as conduct Field Inventory Audits. The Field Inventory Program Manager will need to travel a minimum of 25% a month (33% of calendar year minimum). Located ideally out of Denver, San Ramon, or Scottsdale Hub. The expected base salary range for this role is $90,600.00-$113,000.00 which represents the company’s current good-faith estimate of compensation for this position. Actual salary will depend on factors such as, but not limited to, candidate experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific work location. This role may also be eligible for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and wellness resources). These resources are mobilized on-demand via our own dedicated ground & aviation transportation logistics network, to retrieve and deliver allocated donor organs from anywhere in the U.S. – aiding U.S. Transplant Centers in bidding farewell to the time & distance limitations of cold storage & expand the pool of viable donor organs for their transplant recipients.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain or Nursing
  • 1 + year Program Management
  • 1+ years Inventory Management
  • Ability to travel at a minimum 33% of a calendar year
  • May require occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
  • Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors in Business, Supply Chain or Nursing
  • 3+ years experience In Program Management
  • 2+ years experience in Inventory management

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve weekly field cycle counts for the NOP Hubs
  • Validate 3rd party billings and activities
  • Maintain Training and documentation on Field Inventory Procedures
  • Conduct Trainings with 3rd party contractors and NOP specialists around inventory procedures, policies and tools.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation and testing our custom Inventory software
  • Drive continuous improvement in our systems, tools, and policies for Field Inventory Management
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and material movement as needed.
  • Communicate with our NOP teams changes in practices or policies
  • Conduct Training on RMA procedures for our NOP Specialists
  • Conduct Training on system processes for scrapping/expiring material in the field
  • Provide support during year end and quarterly inventories
  • Maintain records for Inventory Audit Trail
  • Have a good understanding of how to store and track medications and medical devices
  • Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as required.

  • Reviewing WIS contractor Performances.
