About The Position

The position involves verifying merchandise and cash in each of the Company stores by conducting a physical count using a hand-held computer. The employee will notify the store manager of wrong prices and pull out-of-code merchandise. Responsibilities include counting and recording cash, checks, and food stamps in the register, TACC tubes, and safe, as well as verifying money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits. The employee will also verify gasoline inventory by checking tanks for water, perform various surveys to ensure compliance with operational and financial procedures, and work in a safe manner by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. The role requires the ability to work independently with little supervision, perform multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Benefits

• Pay is $14-16 per hour based on experience.
