About The Position

The Field Inventory Analyst at Medtronic is a field-based role responsible for executing inventory strategies and initiatives for the US Cardiac Surgery division. This position involves collaboration with various internal and external partners to ensure optimal inventory management, enhancing the patient and customer experience. The role requires proactive engagement in process improvement and effective communication with sales teams and customer service operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with multiple internal and external business partners to coordinate inventory strategies.
  • Partner with field-based District Service Managers, Clinical Specialists, Sales Reps, and District Managers to ensure product availability.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care Supply Chain Analysts and Field Inventory Program Managers to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Build credibility, trust, and respect from internal and external customers.
  • Identify inventory optimization opportunities and develop business cases for improvement.
  • Communicate and facilitate the execution of inventory management initiatives with sales teams.
  • Maintain effective relationships with Customer Care Supply Chain and customer service operations.
  • Provide regular on-call support for evenings and weekends when critical business needs arise.
  • Stay current on internal training requirements and product knowledge.
  • Propose ideas for process improvement and drive completion.
