Field Interviewers are responsible for traveling frequently to selected locations to recruit study participants, making in-person contact with selected respondents to discuss the study, answer questions, and obtain participation. They collect confidential information and administer standardized questionnaires. The role also involves independently managing administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings, transmitting data as scheduled, and maintaining adequate and timely communication with all project staff. Field Interviewers must assume full and legal responsibility for the use and care of project-issued equipment, safeguarding participant incentives and project materials, and carefully tracking all participant incentives. They are also required to submit timely and accurate Time & Expense reports and attend virtually scheduled meetings and debrief meetings to provide feedback for methodological improvements.
