About The Position

The Field Installer Level 2 at Schust is responsible for the fabrication and installation of industrial ventilation systems, including dust collection equipment and ductwork. This role requires significant travel across the United States, up to 60-80%, and emphasizes safety, teamwork, and effective communication. The installer will work closely with project supervisors to maintain a safe work environment and ensure high-quality installations.

Requirements

• Possess AWS SMAW D1.1 3G,4G weld certification.
• Strong GMAW (mig) welding knowledge and skills.
• Valid NCCCO Rigger and Signal Person certificate.
• Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license with For Hire endorsement.
• DOT physical required to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to wear a respirator and work in confined spaces.
• Training to operate forklifts, man lifts, and telehandlers.
• Physically capable of wearing respiratory protection and working at heights.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints.
• Meet physical demands including pushing, pulling, or lifting 50-60lbs consistently.
• Current OSHA 10 or 30-hour card.

Responsibilities

• Install dust collection equipment, make-up air units, fans, curbs, ductwork, and sheet metal.
• Assist the project supervisor in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area/site.
• Participate in training to increase knowledge, skills, and safety awareness.
• Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and project crew members.
