About The Position

Field Installation Technician Musco's Insane Impact Team has an opening for a Field Installation Technician at our Des Moines office . If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you! Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct site visits to identify all details needed for a successful installation, if needed Assist with packing and review of each project before shipping to field location Ensure spec sheets, inventory, BOM and process documents are correct before arrival on-site Work with independent contractors, rental companies, and third-party vendors to ensure the appropriate equipment and staff are available onsite Unloading of truck while performing QC on product inventory at the job site Assist project managers as one of the onsite representatives of the team Communicate dates, timelines, etc. with customers as well as provide excellent customer service to the end-user from planning phase to completion Execute construction and build out of LED walls, structural modifications, production equipment and rack commissioning including mounting of LED signs and structural support to steel structure or wall anchor Wiring of each cabinet throughout the entire board. No electrical or work that would require voltage of any kind Final sign-off and walkthrough with the customer Assist in any repairs or cleaning of the pertaining structure, LED or building site post-installation Monitor and document project status and documentation through our project management software Track costs and expenses using expense reporting software Who is Musco: Musco, a privately held company since 1976, is the global leader in sports and large-area lighting solutions, with projects in 135 countries. Requirements

  • Mechanically orientated with ability to make independent decisions, experience in basic construction or trade experience
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate heavy equipment (telehandler, scissor lift, boom lift) and work at elevated heights
  • OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Drivers License, clean driving record and ability to obtain DOT medical card, passed background check
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs at a time, travel to job sites and work indoors & outdoors
  • Basic computer skills
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday. Home on weekends except for rare occasions
  • Travel three (3) weeks per month, with one (1) week working from home or Des Moines office
  • Required 75% travel out of state, and requiring overnight stays

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in IT, low voltage, A/V or commissioning audio systems is a plus

Responsibilities
