About The Position

Purpose: Field Install Supervisor directly supervises the activities of Field Install Specialists Overseeing various project sets in Floor & Decor retail environment to enhance the customer experience, increase sales, and maximize inventory turns. The supervisor direct the work priorities of FIT teams (2 associates) based on the directives of the NSVM group and regional leadership partners. Maintaining strong relationships with F&D store personnel is critical to ensure consistent merchandising goals are met. The FIT teams will service 1-2 stores in the market. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Minimum of three years of relevant experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company Experience working in a retail environment and merchandising departments Proven problem-solving and team building skills Excellent organizational skills Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Must be detail-oriented Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment Essential Job Functions: Responsible for cross-project communication on items, such as: sets, fixtures, merchandise layout, bay elevations, etc. Supervise the work activities of FISs within his/her area. Train, and develop FISs within the work team. Engage in coaching for the development of FISs. Assist FISs with merchandising bays, set compliance with planograms, replacing labels, pack out, and building displays. Partner with store and regional teams to execute merchandising strategies. Follow up on assigned activities of the FISs in his/her area and ensure execution of projects and general service activities in relation to FIT standards. Monitor set compliance with planogram, ensure merchandise is displayed in a neat and appealing manner. Monitor and engage the team during pack out activities, flat stacking and display builds. Administration Execute timelines to complete projects per schedule and communicate any issues to the Divisional Execution Manager Ensure that POP and signage is ordered and properly set according to planogram. Monitor and review timekeeping, expenses and training data on FIT team. Communicate store and FIT objectives to FISs using the appropriate programs and tools. Participate in the interview process for hiring of new FISs and partner with DEM on recommendations. Provide input into appropriate discipline decisions related to FISs. Provide input to the DEM on performance appraisals of FISs and make recommendations on promotion of associates in his/her area. WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT) Car travel required (if market has two stores) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate. PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
