Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Responsible for compliance oversight on WBI construction projects pertaining to environmental, welding and material tracking on the jobsite and during prefabrication. Provides accurate jobsite, materials, and project completion documentation to various engineering teams at WBI Energy. A Field Inspector, Sr. must be able to recognize and correct jobsite and pipeline compliance issues and provided corrective course of action to crew members, supervisors, engineers and contractors while maintaining project deadlines. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Field Inspector ($30.70 - $38.38 per hour) A working knowledge of pipeline construction, EPA and FERC environmental requirements or welding inspection pertaining to API 1104 requirements at level normally acquired through the completion of an associate’s degree with a technical emphasis or equivalent experience. Field Inspector, Sr. ($35.32 - $44.15 per hour) A working knowledge of pipeline construction, EPA and FERC environmental requirements or welding inspection pertaining to API 1104 requirements at level normally acquired through the completion of an associate’s degree with a technical emphasis or equivalent experience. Two years of experience in coating application and pipeline inspection or cathodic protection application and installation. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access. Required to maintain a valid driver’s license. Subject to the Company’s DOT Substance Abuse Testing Program. Required travel: Extensive (50% +). Field Inspector (Additional Other Requirements): Acquire AAMP Level I Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP) or equivalent within 2 years in the role. Acquire certifications within first 3 years in the role: Cathodic Protection (CP) Level I. Accredited Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. Field Inspector, Sr (Additional Other Requirements): Accredited Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. AAMP Level I Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP) or equivalent. Obtain AAMP Level II Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP) within 1 year in the role. Industry recognized training on plug and ball valve commissioning within 1 year in the role. Successfully completed Cathodic Protection (CP) Level I. Maintain Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Administrator and Asbestos Inspector Certifications. Completion of FERC’s Environmental Review and Compliance for Natural Gas Facilities Training Seminar. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Field Inspector: AAMP, Level II Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 2). Industry recognized training on plug and ball valve commissioning. Completion of FERC’s Environmental Review and Compliance for Natural Gas Facilities Training Seminar. Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Administrator and Asbestos Inspector Certifications. Field Inspector, Sr.: AAMP Level III Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP).
