About The Position

SDMyers is seeking Field Inspection Technicians to join their growing field team in Paducah, KY. The company serves customers by maintaining safe, reliable electrical transformers through testing, monitoring, field service, and training, operating on a foundation of Biblical principles. In this role, the technician will inspect energized transformers and collect oil samples for the lab in Northeast Ohio, playing an essential part in maintaining the power grid. The position includes a paid, 8-week training program to ensure full support and preparation.

Requirements

• Ability to travel weekly (Monday–Friday), home on weekends
• Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a physical and drug screen
• Independence, integrity, and initiative—this is a solo field role representing SDMyers to customers
• Must be able to pass Hair Follicle drug test and BG check
