The Field Human Resources Manager at Cencora is responsible for overseeing HR functions across multiple Distribution Centers. This role involves shaping HR policies, managing associate relations, and supporting the leadership team in enhancing workplace culture and compliance. The position is integral to the success of the Distribution Services district, focusing on recruitment, training, and employee engagement.

  • Lead and coordinate all HR functions across multiple Distribution Centers.
  • Assist management with HR-related forms and notifications for new hires, terminations, and salary increases.
  • Manage associate relations for both union and non-union associates, addressing disciplinary issues and terminations.
  • Provide coaching to warehouse line leaders on HR management and performance management.
  • Ensure timely completion of FMLA and other leave-related forms in compliance with regulations.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for recruiting, including market labor analysis and job fair logistics.
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates, and collaborate with hiring managers to fill open positions.
  • Complete the new hire process, including offer letters, drug screenings, and onboarding paperwork.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and open enrollment meetings.
  • Complete reports and documentation for compliance with Affirmative Action plans.
  • Provide training on compliance-related topics such as workplace violence and sexual harassment.
  • Deliver targeted HR training to facility leadership and associates.
  • Coordinate and participate in the exit interview process to gather turnover data.
  • Administer various companywide programs as assigned.
  • Act as a point of contact for associate-related records and files.
  • Communicate HR policies and legal compliance updates to distribution center teams.
  • Promote positive working relationships and organize associate engagement activities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four years of progressively responsible HR experience.
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and training skills.
  • Experience in associate relations and counseling management on HR issues.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and participate in organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
