This project is located in Newnan, GA and requires mobilizing to the site for project duration. Onboarding will take place at world headquarters in Overland Park, KS. Human Resources experience is strongly preferred. This role will be a field-based Field HR Generalist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Support industrial construction projects Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws governing employment process

Requirements

  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desired
  • Interviewing, Employment Law, EEO/AAP and Problem Solving/Conflict Management
  • Basic knowledge of human resource information systems (People Soft/ADP)
  • Basic knowledge of hiring policies and procedures
  • Strong skills using Microsoft’s suite of products.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work on construction sites in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Advises management and professionals on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs and procedures. Seeks to ensure compliance and understanding of HR policies.
  • Assists with employee relation investigations, to include taking statements, conducting interviews, and making recommendations to management.
  • Assures HR programs are carried out in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.
  • Conducting orientations/onboarding tasks and accurately processing company, state, and federal new hire paperwork including policy acknowledgement and I9s.
  • Assist employees with any benefit or payroll questions/issues that may arise.
  • Support the company’s progressive disciplinary process in a fair manner onsite.
  • Assist with involuntary terminations and reduction-in-force activities as needed
  • Conducting HR trainings as needed.
  • Perform duties such as creation of human resource information system reports, memos, researching and obtaining documentation.
  • May have responsibility for coordinating and scheduling special activities including drug testing.
  • Maintains HR Records to ensure compliance and arranges destruction of ER records according to policy.
  • Monitor and administer HR compliance programs onsite.
