About The Position

The Field HR Specialist at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport plays a crucial role in managing complex HR administrative processes and procedures. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-4 years of administrative experience in a Human Resources function
  • Coursework towards HR certification or understanding of HR best practices
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Strong knowledge of HR technical subjects
  • Expertise in preparing computer-based documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Familiarity with HRMS systems, PeopleSoft is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a positive HR presence with associates and management within the branch.
  • Assist in the application of federal, state, and local laws, collective bargaining agreements, and HR policies.
  • Ensure that all required HR standards are understood and followed by associates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate HR investigations.
  • Proactively interact with associates to identify and resolve HR administration problems.
  • Understand airport/landlord policies and assist with compliance.
  • Support the full recruitment process including posting positions and conducting screenings.
  • Respond to associate inquiries related to pay, scheduling, and policies.
  • Perform general administrative functions including maintaining employee files and processing changes in HRMS systems.
  • Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation.
  • Promote positive associate and labor relations.
