About The Position

The Field Experience Coordinator at the University of Idaho is a part-time position based in Coeur d'Alene, responsible for overseeing the placement and supervision of teacher education students in P-12 schools. Responsibilities

• Arrange successful placements and supervision of teacher education students in P-12 schools for internships and clinical experiences.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure appropriate record keeping regarding supervision, stipends, payments, agreements with school districts, and completion of assessments.
• Develop print and electronic informational materials for teacher education programs.
• Develop and deliver professional development opportunities for mentor teachers.
• Teach seminar courses for interns.
• Serve on committees related to teacher education and field placements.
• Prepare reports for the Department Chair, Director of Teacher Education, and Director of Field Placement.
