Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of high volume enrollment management experience with employer sponsored benefit programs.
  • Experience managing distributed teams and driving performance in fast paced, high volume environments.
  • Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with digital enrollment platforms, CRM tools, workforce scheduling systems, or analytics dashboards.
  • Ability to interpret data and operational metrics and make informed decisions based on performance trends.
  • Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills; proven ability to lead effectively in both virtual and onsite settings.
  • Demonstrated problem solving capability, organizational strength, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma required;
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using or managing AI enhanced tools for scheduling, digital engagement, analytics, or workflow automation.
  • Background in Life and Health benefits; active Life & Health license preferred.
  • Experience partnering with technology teams on platform changes, testing, or integrations.
  • Supervisory experience leading large, distributed, or on call teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and operational management of open enrollment events, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional client and employee experience.
  • Supervise, coach, and performance manage field benefit counselors; ensure attendance, production goals, and service protocols are met in both virtual and onsite environments.
  • Use AI enabled and digital tools to enhance forecasting, counselor scheduling, productivity monitoring, and staffing models.
  • Oversee daily counselor workflows, including training, script adherence, quality checks, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct case trainings and support client facing training initiatives; serve as a resource on plan design and enrollment process accuracy.
  • Set and manage service level expectations with clients, driving operational consistency and proactive communication throughout the enrollment cycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve case specific issues, working closely with Account Management, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Interpret enrollment analytics, performance dashboards, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that support higher revenue, greater accuracy, and reduced operating costs.
  • Support expense management, staffing projections, and operational planning across all enrollment types, including open enrollment, new hire onboarding, and special projects.
