Raytheon is hiring a Senior Administrative Assistant to perform a wide variety of secretarial and clerical tasks in support of the Field Engineering Sentinel Section under assigned level of Section Management. Position Location Onsite – Fullerton, CA Travel is approximately 10% CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Experience scheduling meetings, both internal and external.
  • Experience composing reports, correspondence and memorandums; reviewing drafts for spelling and grammar.

  • Expertise utilizing company and program tools to support section activities, e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP Concur, Workday, Synchronized Pre-deployment & Operational Tracker (SPOT).

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files as required by section or program.
  • Arrange meetings, appointments and conferences.
  • Receive, refer and answer electronic and hardcopy mail.
  • Utilize and answer questions related to office software applications and other office tools and equipment.
  • Compose reports, correspondence and memorandums.
  • Review drafts and finished documents for appropriate spelling and grammar.
  • Manage expense reports and advise on travel and expense policies to Section Manager and section.
  • Cross train with other administrative professionals on new processes or procedures to ensure uninterrupted section support.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding new and existing employees.
  • Assist Section Manager with tasks related to deploying and monitoring personnel on international assignments to include export/import, travel and immigration arrangements.
  • Assist Section Manager in monitoring section support with appropriate tools and trackers.
  • Order office and peripheral assets for the section as required.
  • Assist US Army end user in maintenance and distribution of program required credentials for the section in appropriate databases.
