As a Field Engineer at Amadeus, you will recover functional and technical incidents and requests regarding hardware and software related systems or escalate them to resolver groups within Amadeus or to third parties involved in the service provided. You will work autonomously within defined processes and procedures, taking standard decisions and supporting the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature. You will receive guidance from more senior roles or managers, with regular monitoring on the status of your assignments. Your responsibilities will include providing support in areas of personal computers, servers, mainframe applications, data/voice networks, and ERP systems. You will also acquire, install, and upgrade PC components and software, respond to user requests, provide real-time end-user ERP systems support, and assist in hardware and software evaluation.
