The Field Engineer is responsible for overseeing various aspects of project execution, including redline submissions, test audits, lessons learned documentation, warranty processing, and product submittals. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all engineering tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, with a focus on quality and compliance with project specifications. The Field Engineer will work closely with leads, superintendents, and other engineering teams to ensure that all infrastructure is installed according to design and specifications, and will be involved in the finalization of project documentation and audits.

  • Oversee RFIs and ensure proper submission
  • Verify and manage design and shop drawings
  • Must have at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-4 years of commercial low-voltage/structured cabling experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents.
  • Experience with BIM360 and design verification.
  • Familiarity with ISP and copper installation processes.
  • Knowledge of warranty processing and documentation.
