About The Position

ENTACT is a premier national provider of environmental, civil, and geotechnical construction services, directly self-performing environmental remediation and geotechnical construction work using in-house personnel and equipment. Established in 1991, ENTACT has been consistently named to ENR’s “Top 200 Environmental Firms” and has completed over 3,000 projects. The company has numerous regional offices and project sites across the United States. ENTACT is actively seeking a Field Engineer in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry. This position requires sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time, with project locations varying. Candidates can reside anywhere within the US, and ENTACT offers per diem/living allowance and paid monthly trips home. The Field Engineer will work closely with management and the health and safety team, with responsibilities including quality control, surveying, KPI tracking, and other duties related to project execution. The role demands self-motivation, effective communication in a teamwork setting, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license without restrictions is required.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams

  • Highly motivated, with the ability to take the initiative
  • Strong organization, time management and attention to detail

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements

Nice To Haves

  • HAZWOPER 40 hr. training is highly preferred but not required
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred but not required
