We are experiencing growth and we are looking for a Field Engineer based in Orlando, FL with international travel and support. You will be the Technical Support Engineer – M TADS/PNVS & FCR for the Customer Field Services (CFSR) team. Our team provides onsite technical, maintenance, and supply support for Apache D/E Model M TADS/PNVS and FCR systems across the Continental United States and worldwide FMS locations. What You Will Be Doing As the Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for delivering hands on assistance, guidance, and oversight during preventative maintenance, fault isolation, operational checks, and supply activities. You’ll serve as the local Lockheed Martin representative, conduct classroom and on the job training, and perform product briefings for customers and senior leadership. When not deployed overseas, you’ll be based in Orlando supporting the CFSR team in plant. Your responsibilities will include: Provide on site “over the shoulder” technical support for M TADS/PNVS and FCR systems. Lead preventative maintenance, system checks, and fault isolation/troubleshooting. Interpret and use IETMs, wiring schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, charts, and workbooks. Manage supply activities and ensure parts availability per contract requirements. Deliver technical classroom instruction and on the job training in line with the SOW/PWS. Conduct product briefings for customer personnel and senior Lockheed Martin management. Serve as the primary Lockheed Martin point of contact for customers at each site. Coordinate with the CFSR team to support fielded units and maintain readiness. Travel internationally to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers as required. Further Information About This Opportunity: This position is in Orlando, FL. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Ability to climb military aircraft and perform maintenance at heights
  • A background in military avionics and night vision systems is desired, with actual flight line experience preferred
  • Candidate must have the ability to use computer aided test equipment, as well as standard electronic test devices such as DVM and oscilloscope.
  • Analysis of wire-code (WC) procedures to resolve field issues
  • Candidate must be able to complete common supply inventory and processing actions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
  • Good computer skills, Microsoft office products
  • Support & present at customer venues on reliability/ITOC topics
  • Working with international customers to resolve tech queries
  • Generate, review, and deliver technical training of TADS/PNVS & FCR Sensors
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior military experience with actual flight line experience preferred
  • Experience with the military supply system
  • 15Y AH64 Electrical Systems Repair MOS
  • Active Security Clearance
