Field Engineer DEX Imaging | Customer-Facing | Hands-On | High Impact Are you an experienced IT professional who thrives in client environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and wants to be part of a growing Managed Services organization? DEX Imaging is expanding its Managed IT Services team and is seeking a Field Engineer who brings both deep technical expertise and exceptional customer presence. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys being in the field, building trusted client relationships, and serving as the technical face of a modern MSP. What You’ll Do: As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for all on-site technical delivery at client locations, working in close partnership with our centralized Helpdesk, NOC, and Project Engineering teams . You will play a critical role in ensuring customer environments are stable, secure, and aligned with best practices. Key responsibilities include: Travel to client sites to deliver reactive and proactive technical support Provide Tier I and Tier II consultative support to end users and client stakeholders Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service tasks Assess customer environments against DEX standards and actively work to remediate gaps Resolve complex technical issues across: Microsoft Windows Server (2008–2022) Microsoft Exchange, RDS, Hyper-V, VMware ESXi Workstation/server hardware and peripherals Networking (switching, firewalls, wireless) Backup, replication, cloud, and virtualization technologies Collaborate with internal engineering teams and third-party vendors Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, utilization, and service quality Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support as needed What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting client-server environments Strong expertise in Microsoft infrastructure technologies Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and MSP best practices Familiarity with Office 365, Azure , and cloud-based services Experience with MSP tools such as ConnectWise and IT Glue (preferred) Confident, polished communicator comfortable in client-facing situations Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, including whiteboard presentations Highly organized, self-directed, and effective under competing priorities Professional written and verbal communication skills Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred Bilingual highly preferred MCSE or other relevant industry certifications preferred Reliable transportation required for travel to client sites Why DEX Imaging: DEX Imaging is more than a technology company—we are a solutions-driven organization investing heavily in Managed IT Services as a core growth engine.
