Field Engineer - Water/Wastewater
About The Position
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Division in Sanford, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for successful completion of field tasks as assigned by the Project Superintendent and Craft Foreman. Responsibilities: Assist Foreman with structure layout Field purchase orders Engineering duties as assigned for assistance in planning construction. Maintain and update project logs and schedules. Identify need for Requests for Information (RFIs). Prepare, review and process shop drawings. Maintain as-built drawings. Collect and assemble O&M material. Perform subcontract scope analysis. Assist with purchasing and expediting. Document distribution. Meeting minutes and distribution. Scheduling.
