Weaver Consultants Group Fort Worth office is seeking candidates for a Landfill Gas Technician opportunity. This position will provide gas extraction, leachate collections and operations and maintenance services for the landfill industry. Requirements

• Construction or previous experience with landfill gas systems preferred
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs
• Clean driving record
• Flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Landfill gas system operations and maintenance
• Well field monitoring/tuning
• Explosive gas monitoring
• Surface emission monitoring
• Liquid level monitoring
• LFG flare monitoring/maintenance
• Pulling/cleaning submersible pumps
• LFG system troubleshooting
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Understand materials, methods, and tools used on site
• Understand basic electrical safety requirements
• Weld HDPE pipe and fittings
• Extrusion welds HDPE liner materials
• Understand how to use on-site equipment
