About The Position

Wharton Smith is currently seeking Field Engineer Interns in our Water/Wastewater Division in Texas. This internship will provide valuable experience in the field of engineering, particularly in water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management staff with daily duties
• Review design documents and confer with other team members
• Review bids from subcontractors and assist with subcontractor selection and issuance of contracts
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations on project sites
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other project team members in support of daily tasks/duties
• Create and maintain internal and external project logs as necessary
