The Field Engineer is responsible for overseeing various aspects of project closeout, including redlines, test audits, lessons learned, warranties, and product submittals. They will work closely with leads and superintendents to ensure that all changes to the Scope of Work (SoW) are accurately documented and submitted to engineering. The Field Engineer will utilize internal trackers for both fiber and copper installations, ensuring that all infrastructure is installed according to design specifications. They will also manage the redlining process for network configurations as needed. Additionally, the Field Engineer will conduct test audits, verify cable schedules, and ensure that all testing projects align with the prints. They will actively update lessons learned documents throughout the build process and gather necessary information for warranty processing towards the end of the project. Product submittals will be completed by the Field Engineer, who will also assist in printing labels for installation teams. The role may involve overseeing RFIs and design-related tasks, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
