The Project Engineer is responsible for directing, coordinating, and exercising functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the assigned area of responsibility. This role involves preparing and maintaining project schedules, tracking productivity, maintaining logs for RFIs and change orders, and preparing documentation for change orders and monthly pay estimates. The Project Engineer will also assist in project control, survey, and layout, and prepare monthly reports on actual vs. budget, cash flow, and estimated costs and revenues at completion.
