Field Engineer Firestop
About The Position
In this role, you'll provide technical support and drive sales by partnering with designers and specifiers to solve complex challenges using Hilti Fire Protection solutions. You'll secure commitments for specification or approval of Hilti engineered products, consult on innovative designs, and help customers build smarter, stronger, and more sustainably-while protecting projects with sound engineering judgment. This is where collaboration meets impact, and your expertise shapes the future of construction. This position capitalizes on Hilti competencies to secure commitments for specification or approval of Hilti Products while adding value by assisting design community and influencers in solving design problems using Hilti Products. This position protects company from liability exposure through use of sound engineering judgment. Provides leadership and coaching to new and less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required; Master's degree (technical or business) preferred or minimum of 5 years engineering/construction industry experience
- Knowledge of construction methods and practices preferred
- 2 years minimum experience in field engineering role
- Completion of promotion and performance criteria
- Successful completion of Principles of Performance training prior to accepting position
Nice To Haves
- P.E. (Professional Engineering License) preferred
