Qualified candidates for this position must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial and residential Audio Video Industry. The following are the primary responsibilities, qualifications, and skills for the position. The purpose behind the Field Engineer position is to verify that the intent of the design has been met and that all technical and functional aspects of the system have been tested and measured against objective and subjective benchmarks. This includes: · Verification of the of the system components presence and operation. During this process all components are identified as being provided and operating at or above their specifications per the design intent. · Optimization of the systemâs overall functionality and quality. This includes video and audio calibration and fine tuning, and control system and environmental system operation. A commissioning report will be produced that details the problems and identifies any punch list items still outstanding, and if they will be addressed at a later date a new agreement should be drawn up covering the future work.
