Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Emergency Medical Technician required
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required
- Emergency Medical Technician [EMT License] - Generic - HR Only required
- EMT Experience 0-1 year preferred
- Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
- Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of practice.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful and crisis situations.
Nice To Haves
- Emergency Medical Technician [NREMT-Basic] - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred
- Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during transport
- Safely operate and maintain ambulances and medical equipment
- Assist with discharges and facility transfers professionally and respectfully
- Accurately document patient care
