Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
  • 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
  • Clean driving record
  • Must have own tools
  • Must have or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and perform 50% or more work offsite/in the field
  • Ability to work flexible/on-call hours.
  • Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional Documentation and Communication Abilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide professional, timely, and courteous field service as directed by the Service Manager, including potential weekend and after-hours service calls.
  • Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly with equipment owners, operators, and the service team.
  • Request, install, and manage all parts and supplies required for equipment repairs.
  • Complete work orders and all required service-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities.
  • Proactively recommend maintenance, upgrades, or solutions that add value for customers and improve equipment performance.
  • Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments.
