The Field Diagnostic Technician I will primarily supply technical phone support for our field personnel, along with diagnosis, testing, and repair of mechanical parts/systems.

Requirements

  • 2-year technical degree from accredited institution required, or relative industry accreditations with high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of applicable experience required, prior experience with Hunter Equipment preferred
  • Strong computer skills required for diagnosis of alignment and inspection systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer diagnostics and networking skills a plus
  • Outstanding mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support field personnel via incoming calls/service tickets to accurately and effectively diagnose service issues and perform walk-through of necessary repairs ensuring resolution
  • Build positive relationships with field personnel
  • Report issues found on repaired systems for quality and technical documentation
  • Collect and categorize data during and after contact in order to make appropriate product and service improvement recommendations
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot and work in the repair process of all Hunter electronic/electromechanical components and systems
  • Additional duties as assigned.
