About The Position

The Field Crane Technician position is based in Baltimore, MD, offering an hourly pay rate ranging from $25.00 to $45.00, depending on experience. Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days of continuous service, and will be eligible for a Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician preferred.
• Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.
• Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required.
• Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
• Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
• Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
