About The Position

The Field Consultant at AAA Northeast plays a vital role in representing the organization within its road service contractor network. This position focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, ensuring adherence to AAA program standards, and driving the adoption of AAA services. The consultant will travel extensively within a designated territory to conduct in-person visits, analyze performance metrics, and provide consulting services to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business concentration preferred or 6-8 years of additional relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in the automotive industry, logistics, franchise business management, account management, sales background, customer service, and performance management.

• Experience using financial and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships between the road service contractor network and AAA.
• Conduct regular in-person contractor visits to communicate AAA program standards and monitor KPIs.
• Develop action plans to ensure minimum facility requirements and AAA standards are met.
• Analyze territory performance and seasonal resource requirements to ensure service levels are met.
• Manage the new contractor process, including recruitment, screening, selection, and onboarding.
• Provide contractor consulting services regarding operational efficiency, financial performance, and viability.
• Support deployment of Road Service systems, technology, and equipment.
• Prepare materials and coordinate contractor group meetings, including operational review meetings and recognition events.
• Research industry best practices and technologies and share insights with peers and contractors.
